On behalf of the organising committee of the 26th Annual Scientific Meeting of the
European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery ESOPRS, I
would like to extend a warm welcome to all of you to Lucerne Switzerland.

The first day of the meeting will be devoted to specially formatted instructional
lectures focussing on the basics of eyelid, lacrimal and orbital surgery. It will
assemble an outstanding faculty and a strong representation of opinion leaders in the
field of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The following two days will focus on dedicated scientific sessions relating to
functional, as well as aesthetic Ophthalmic Surgery. Scientific papers and posters
and videos will seamlessly blend established knowledge with new information to
stimulate interaction and discussion.
